Job summary

AlphaBEST Education is hiring for the 2026/2027 school year at our Bixby School and Steen School locations. The Group Leader will guide a group of students through daily curriculum activities including World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts, while ensuring safety and a positive, inclusive environment.

Ideal applicants are students studying Education, Child Development, Psychology, Social Work, or Recreation/Youth Development, with a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR and First Aid

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with bending and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts).
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff.

Hours: 7:00-8:30am & 2:30-6:00pm

Looking to gain leadership experience while you're in school?

AlphaBEST Education provides extended day, summer, and enrichment programs that are designed to inspire and engage students while they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment.

As an AlphaBEST Group Leader, you'll help shape meaningful before and after school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive. You'll gain valuable experience working with children and collaborating with a team.

We're looking for an early learning professional who:

• Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment
• Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely
• Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed

In this role, you will:
