Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is hiring for the 2026/2027 school year in South End, School, North End School and Memorial Middle School. As a Group Leader, you will support before and after school programs, leading activities and ensuring a safe, engaging environment.

This role offers hands-on leadership experience with children, opportunities to develop teamwork with staff, and a chance to contribute to student growth in a structured, energetic setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts).
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff.

Pay: $17.00/hour

Hours: 7:00-8:45am & 2:30-6:00pm

Looking to gain leadership experience while you're in school?

AlphaBEST Education provides extended day, summer, and enrichment programs that are designed to inspire and engage students while they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment.

As an AlphaBEST Group Leader, you'll help shape meaningful before and after school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive. You'll gain valuable experience working with children and collaborating with a team.

• Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment
• Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely
• Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed
