Job summary

ABC Care Inc. in Maryland is a leading after-school childcare program with 13 centers in Carroll County and one in Baltimore County.

We offer flexible morning or late-afternoon hours throughout the school year, with positions for both full-time and part-time staff. Responsibilities include supporting teachers, implementing lesson plans, and engaging children in diverse activities.

Qualifications

• Age 16 years or older.
• Willing to take continuing education classes.
• Willing to take CPR & First Aid class.
• Towork directly under the supervision of either a School Age Childcare Teacher, Assistant Site Director or a Site Director
• Assist in setting up the center’s daily activities.
• Must be able to bend at a 45-degree angle, lift 30 lbs, twist body, sit on the ground and get up, squat, stand for 4 hours, and walk stairs.
• Having a driver’s license to travel between centers is preferred.
• Attend center staff meetings, all staff meetings and training programs.

Because of our split schedule, we are able to offer flexible hours in the morning or the late afternoon throughout the school year. Our positions can accommodate individuals looking for full time employment and those needing part time due to college or high school class schedules.

Job Requirements

• Age 16 years or older
• Willing to take continuing education classes
• Willing to take CPR & First Aid class
• Towork directly under the supervision of either a School Age Childcare Teacher, Assistant Site Director or a Site Director
• Assist in setting up the center’s daily activities.
• Must be able to bend at a 45-degree angle, must be able to lift 30 lbs, must be able to twist body both left and right, must be able to sit on the ground and get up successfully without assistance from another person, must be able to squat, must be able to stand a minimum of 4 hours, must be able to walk up and down stairs.
• Having a driver’s license to be able to get from one center to another in a timely manner is preferred.
• To attend center staff meetings, all staff meetings and training programs.
