Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Site Director for our Before and After School Program at Pittsburgh Manchester Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year.

Morning and afternoon shifts run on school days, with opportunities for both programs. We offer employer-paid childcare and a supportive team environment that values safety, development, and family engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or human services field plus 1 year of experience with children under 13.
• Bachelor's Degree including 30 credit hours in ECE/Child Development/Special Education/human services field plus 2 years of experience with children under 13.
• Associate's Degree in ECE/Child Development/Special Education/human services field plus 3 years of experience with children under 13.
• Associate's Degree including 30 credit hours in ECE/Child Development/Special Education/human services field plus 4 years of experience with children under 13.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory leadership: Ensure full compliance with PA DHS/OCDEL school-age regulations; maintain files, attendance records, and documentation; keep the program audit-ready.
• Program & staff leadership: Lead engaging activities (STEAM, fitness, academics, arts, homework support); supervise children and staff; maintain safe ratios and behavior management.
• Operations & communication: Oversee daily attendance, registration, scheduling; liaise between families, school administration, and the Healthy Kids main office; use Playground App for communications.
