As a Before & After Care Worker you will help maintain a safe, orderly environment in the cafeteria and playground, supervise students and support learning during before- and after-school programs.

Requirements include a High school diploma or higher, prior daycare or camp experience preferred, and a genuine love of children.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher education credential.
• Previous experience as daycare assistant or summer camp counselor, preferred
• Must like children.

• May perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Reflect a professional manner and provide excellent customer service when interacting with children and parents.
• Resolve conflicts with children and parents; be firm but friendly and courteous with all stake-holders.
• Report to the Director of the Before and After Care Program and the school principal.
• Follow correct sign-in and dismissal procedures for Before Care and After Care.
• Monitor students, assist with homework, pass out snacks, and supervise play.
