Job summary

Charter Schools USA is seeking a Before & After Care Worker to support a safe, orderly environment in the cafeteria, playground, and designated areas before and after school. You will supervise students, assist with homework, distribute snacks, and help maintain positive behavior under CSUSA policies.

The role requires a high school diploma or higher and a background in daycare or camp settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in school or camp settings is preferred.
• Ability to stay calm and kind in busy environments.
• Wamiliar with safety and supervision in a cafeteria/playground setting.

Responsibilities

• Reflect a professional demeanor when interacting with students, parents, and staff.
• Follow sign-in and dismissal procedures for Before/After Care.
• Monitor students and maintain a safe, orderly environment.
• Assist students with homework and provide snacks as needed.
• Supervise playground activities and engage with children.
• Tutor students and help with homework.
• Resolve conflicts between children and parents when they arise.
