Job summary

Charter Schools USA is seeking a Before & After Care Worker to help maintain a safe, orderly environment in the cafeteria, playground and designated areas, supervising students before and after school. You will follow CSUSA policies, assist with homework, tutor, supervise, and resolve conflicts with children and parents, reporting to program director and principal.

The role is based in West Palm Beach, Florida, and requires a high school diploma with preference for experience in daycare or camp

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as daycare assistant or summer camp counselor, preferred.

• May perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper student sign in and dismissal procedures for Before Care.
• Follow proper student check in and dismissal procedures for After Care.
• Monitors students.
• Observes who enters and leaves childcare area.
• Passes out snacks.
• Plays with students on playground.
• Tutor and assists students with homework.
• Resolves conflicts with children and parents.
