Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant for our Before and After School Program at Pittsburgh Minadeo Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year.

The role supports children ages 5–12 with activities, homework help, and safe, engaging supervision. Minimum qualifications include 18+, HS diploma, 2+ years working with children, a full background check, TB clearance, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic, art and homework.
• Provide a safe, healthy and fun environment and act as a positive role model.
• Observe state guidelines and program policies; support attendance, registration and staffing when needed.
