Job summary

Kroger in Colorado is seeking a dedicated team member to create outstanding customer experiences through exceptional service in the department. You will help the department manager reach sales goals, maintain a safe, clean environment, and uphold our core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

You will answer questions about products, promote adult beverage displays, stay current with beer, wine and spirits, and assist with inventory, labeling and merchandising.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math.
• Beer/Wine/Liquor experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of varieties, flavors and industry terms is a plus.
• Retail experience is advantageous.
• Second language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Answer questions about products and respond to customer needs.
• Assist with adult beverage display plans and in-store promotions.
• Maintain knowledge of product names, origins and terms.
• Inform customers of specials and suggest items to meet their needs.
• Prepare, label and stock department merchandise.
• Ensure proper temperatures and safety procedures are followed.
• Report discrepancies and maintain positive store atmosphere.
