Job summary

Qualifications

• High school education or GED; preferably 2+ years retail grocery experience with 1 year in a Grocery department.
• Candidates must be at least 21 years of age to work within the Beer and Wine Cafe.

Responsibilities

• Manages department by adjusting orders to meet customer demands while maintaining freshness and minimizing shrink.
• Promotes excellent customer relations and assists customers at the register and on the floor.
• Operates the scanning equipment and cash register; ensures accurate checkout procedures and proper bagging.
• Schedules department associates and provides on-the-job training and recognition of performance.
• Ensures compliance with store and legal guidelines regarding sale of alcohol and other products.
