Qualifications

• High school education or GED.
• Preferably two years or more retail grocery experience with one year in a Grocery department.
• Candidates must be at least 21 years of age to work within the Beer and Wine Cafe.

Responsibilities

• Manages department by adjusting orders to meet customer demands while maintaining freshness and minimizing shrink.
• Promotes excellent customer relations by instilling positive customer focused behavior with associates.
• Operates the scanning equipment and cash register and performs checkout procedures.
• Maintains accuracy during the transaction and follows cash handling procedures.
• Schedules department associates and conducts on-the-job training.
• Follows store guidelines regarding sale of alcohol and other products at the register.
• Verifies deliveries, inspects products, and ensures proper rotation and stocking.
• Applies stocking techniques to ensure products are shelf-ready with correct prices and signs.
• Performs merchandising displays and may assist with unloading deliveries.
• Ensures cleaning and sanitation standards and PPE usage.
• Cooperates with co-workers and supervisors to maintain department and store operations.
