Job summary

Weis Markets is hiring a Customer Service Associate to greet customers, answer questions, and help with purchases at the register in our Honesdale location. Training is provided, and PPE is supplied for safety and compliance.

The role involves operating the scanner, bagging items, and maintaining accurate checkout procedures while following alcohol-sale guidelines and store policies. You may assist in other departments as needed to support team operations.

Qualifications

• Completed or working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
• Candidates must be at least 21 years of age to work within the Beer and Wine Cafe.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and discuss their needs, provide polite and professional assistance.
• Operate scanning equipment and cash register, bag merchandise and assist customers.
• Ensure accurate transactions and cash drawer security.
• Follow guidelines for alcohol sales and other products.
• Stock, rotate, price, and display merchandise; maintain freshness.
• Maintain department sanitation and follow health and OSHA rules.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
