Harris Ranch Beef Company in Selma, CA is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in the Production area, ensuring EHS compliance and food safety standards while controlling costs. The role requires leadership of up to 150 employees and coordination with USDA inspectors.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of beef processing supervision, strong English communication, math skills, and the ability to work varied shifts in a cold environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years supervising groups in meat processing.
• Clear English communication (written and verbal).
• Ability to work varying shifts, weekends, holidays.
• Able to stand long hours in cold environment.
• Strong math skills and legible handwriting.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Experience supervising up to 150 employees.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations in assigned areas.
• Oversee EHS program compliance and FSQR results.
• Lead and coach employees to encourage collaboration.
• Supervise day-to-day functions of Production staff, including Leads.
• Enforce safety and food safety policies and take corrective actions.
• Conduct training for new hires and transfers.
• Maintain equipment and ensure PPE compliance.
• Plan production orders to meet schedules.
