Fresh Thyme Market is seeking a Category Manager for Beef and Pork to drive top-line growth and optimize margins. You’ll partner with stores, vendors, and the DC to execute pricing, promotions, and assortment decisions while leading category initiatives.

You’ll support training for store managers and ensure compliance with health standards, working in a hybrid schedule with in-office and remote days. Strong analytics and meat category experience are a plus.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent grocery experience is required.
• Minimum of 6 years professional experience in a related role.
• Preferred 5–7 years grocery category experience in Natural Foods.
• Experience in meat category highly preferred.
• Financial and analytical skills to interpret P&L and market factors.

Mansioni

• Creates pricing, promotion, assortment and shelf layouts based on data and trends.
• Develops yearly business plans and budgets by category.
• Negotiates with vendors on pricing, assortment and promotions.
• Reviews monthly P&L and maintains budgets and margins.
• Manages inventory and shrink within category standards.
• Develops merchandising and advertising plans aligned with company initiatives.
• Trains and supports store-level managers on category goals.
• Collaborates across departments to implement programs.
