Ohio Beef Council is seeking an Executive Director to lead the organization and Ohio Cattlemen’s Association in advancing the beef industry. You will oversee staff, budgets, and program development, while acting as the primary spokesperson for industry initiatives.

You will plan and coordinate marketing, education, and promotions, manage relationships with boards and partners, and ensure fiscal integrity and compliance across programs. Excellent leadership and public engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, Management, or a related field (advanced degree beneficial).
• Minimum 5 years of management or supervisory experience; nonprofit or industry background preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communications skills; ability to represent organizational interests with officials and stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Plans, directs and coordinates compliance guidelines and budget development with committees.
• Oversees staff performance, training, and professional development; manages payroll, benefits, and HR-related tasks.
• Represents beef industry publicly, coordinates with boards, committees, and partner organizations; supervises contracts and expenditures.
