Job summary

H2ajobs is seeking workers to feed and care for livestock on a beef cattle operation in South Dakota. Tasks include feeding, watering, moving cattle, and inspecting animals for health issues, with responsibilities for basic maintenance of buildings and equipment.

Must be able to speak English, lift up to 50 pounds, and endure extreme temperatures. Housing and meals are employer-provided; some transportation reimbursement is offered. 3 months' experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Feed and water livestock and monitor supplies.
• Herd livestock to scales, trucks, or enclosures; inspect for illness or injury.
• Administer medications or arrange veterinary care as needed.
• Move equipment and livestock between locations; operate transport as required.
• Maintain housing, pens, yards, and fences; clean stalls and equipment.
