The ideal candidate will have completed a phlebotomy course, hold a current BLS certification, and bring prior hospital laboratory experience to ensure accurate sample handling and QA documentation.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an approved phlebotomy course.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience in hospital laboratory preferred.

Mansioni

• Perform phlebotomy procedures including blood draws for neonates to geriatrics and diverse patient groups.
• Perform glucose testing at the bedside.
• Perform waived or moderate complexity Point of Care testing at the bedside in the Emergency Department.
• Assist in clerical duties including patient registration, specimen processing, and QA documentation as needed.
