Job summary

Talentify seeks a Phlebotomist II for our Jacksonville, NC location. The role involves drawing blood, preparing specimens for lab testing, and providing patient-centered care in a professional setting.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma (or equivalent), 3 years of phlebotomy experience, and strong data entry skills. Medical assistant or paramedic training and phlebotomy certification are preferred. This is an on-site position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• 3 years of phlebotomy experience needed.
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Represents the face of the company to patients who come in.
• Draws quality blood samples and prepares specimens for lab testing following established procedures.
• Communicates procedures to patients and performs blood collection safely and accurately.
• Demonstrates leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs daily activities under supervision, maintains a safe professional environment, and keeps required records and documentation.
