Job summary

Metromont LLC is seeking a Bed Group Leader to join our precast concrete team in South Carolina. You will help set up and pour processes, read blueprints and shop tickets, and direct or assist with pours while maintaining safety and quality.

The role is an outdoor, hourly position with a Monday–Friday schedule that varies with workload. A high school diploma or GED and 1-2 years construction experience are required, along with dependability, teamwork skills, and the ability to follow

Qualifications

• Reads blueprints and shop tickets.
• Able to read a tape measure.
• Able to use standard construction tools.
• Able to work on a team.
• Strong work ethic and dependability.
• Able to follow verbal instructions and adapt to changes.

Responsibilities

• General housekeeping and waste disposal.
• Collect and prepare materials as directed.
• Prepare and clean forms.
• Reads blueprints and shop tickets.
• Identifies and reports shop ticket errors.
• Measures and marks locations for placement in forms.
• Direct or assist with concrete pours as needed.
• Direct or assist with raking, screeding, and leveling concrete as needed.
• Operates equipment such as hoists, overhead cranes, hand and power tools.
• Adheres to Metromont and OSHA safety rules.
• Housekeeping to maintain a clean work area.
