Job summary

Metromont LLC is seeking a Bed Group Leader to join our precast concrete team in South Carolina. You will help set up and pour processes, read blueprints and shop tickets, and direct or assist with pours while maintaining safety and quality.

The role is an outdoor, hourly position with a Monday–Friday schedule that varies with workload. A high school diploma or GED and 1-2 years construction experience are required, along with dependability, teamwork skills, and the ability to follow

POSITION PURPOSE

The Bed Group Leader works as a member of a team to complete the setup and pour processes for various product types.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• General housekeeping and waste disposal throughout the shift
• Collect and prepare materials as directed
• Prepare and clean forms
• Reads blueprints and shop tickets
• Identify and report shop ticket errors
• Measures and marks locations for placement of items in forms
• Direct or assist with concrete pours as needed
• Direct or assist with raking, screeding, and leveling concrete as needed
• Operate various types of equipment such as hoists, overhead cranes, hand, and power tools
• Must adhere to all Metromont and OSHA safety rules and regulations.
• Housekeeping as necessary to maintain work area, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.

EDUCATION AND TECHNOLOGY

WORK ENVIRONMENT / SCHEDULE

Sheltered, outdoor environment
Work area is not climate controlled and may be exposed to changing weather and temperature conditions
Monday - Friday Schedule varies with workload and location
Unscheduled overtime may be required depending on business needs

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires standing for long periods of time, lifting (up to 75 lbs.) and bending, repetitive motion with medium force, and an ability to frequently climb up to 15 feet above ground using stairs.
