Qualifications

• Two years journeyman or equivalent in a power plant maintenance or operations role.
• Ability to perform non-routine and complex maintenance across valves, pumps, gear, hydraulics, and related systems.
• Experience with plant operation, testing, calibration, and data collection systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate plant equipment and tools as qualified.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and calibrations as qualified.
• Troubleshoot equipment using manuals and test equipment.
• Carry out basic chemistry operations as qualified.
• Maintain records using computer-based maintenance programs and write procedures.
• Provide and receive feedback in team settings.
• Train to become a Technician II and qualify on plant systems within six months.
