Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Beauty & Wellness Consultant to provide exceptional customer care, skincare consultations, mini-makeovers, and expert product advice across beauty and wellness categories. You will demonstrate knowledge of brands, lead demonstrations and in-store events, and help customers find solutions while delivering an outstanding shopping experience.

The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends and holidays, strong English communication, and the ability to work with store

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and at least one year of experience in retail sales or beauty product sales.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet objectives.
• Knowledge of beauty products and brands to engage customers.
• Experience building relationships within a team.
• Basic PC/tablet skills.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• English fluency in reading, writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Proactively determine customer needs and inform options.
• Engage with customers to identify needs and direct to appropriate products.
• Provide product demonstrations and consultations using available tools.
• Lead in-store events to promote brands and loyalty.
• Build lasting relationships with customers.
• Engage with omni-channel solutions to enhance experience.
• Locate products in other stores or online if unavailable.
• Meet or exceed sales goals by facilitating purchases and delivering outstanding service.
• Review store performance with leadership and adjust strategies.
• Utilize cross-selling and up-selling with customers.
• Use testers and samples to demonstrate application and leverage promotions.
• Maintain testers and department hygiene and organization.
• Protect company assets and minimize losses.
• Process sales for customers and employee purchases at the register.
• Participate in meetings about programs, promotions, launches and goals.
• Maintain knowledge of store systems and equipment.
• Comply with laws on regulated products.
• Follow policies and maintain respectful coworker relations.
• Complete special assignments.
