Job summary

Walgreens in the United States seeks a dedicated Beauty Consultant to deliver exceptional customer care across beauty and wellness products. You will greet customers, demonstrate products, provide skincare consultations, and support brand awareness through in-store events and personalized service.

You will build relationships, recommend solutions, and collaborate with store leadership to meet sales goals while maintaining department standards and compliance with policies, schedules, and safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with retail or beauty sales experience.
• Ability to meet sales goals with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of beauty products/brands to engage customers.
• Experience building and maintaining team relationships.
• Basic PC/tablet skills.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with products and services; resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Demonstrate products and provide consultations using tools like the Skin Hydrometer and tablet.
• Lead in-store events to promote brand awareness and loyalty of Owned Brands and total Beauty.
• Sell, upsell, and link-sell by showing sale items and complimentary offerings.
• Maintain testers and stock, ensuring hygiene and department cleanliness.
• Operate store systems and processes; participate in meetings about programs and promotions.
