Job summary

Walgreens in New York is seeking a proactive Beauty & Wellness Consultant who delivers exceptional customer care, demonstrates product knowledge, and guides shoppers through mini-makeovers and skincare consultations to enhance the total look.

You will engage with customers on in-store and omni-channel solutions, assist with events, maintain department standards, and uphold hygiene and safety while meeting sales goals. Flexible availability including evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in retail sales or beauty/cosmetics with sales goals desired.
• Excellent English communication, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers by greeting and assisting with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Demonstrate product knowledge through demos and consultations (Skin Hydrometer, tablet).
• Lead in-store events to promote brand awareness and loyalty for Owned Brands and total Beauty, Wellness and Personal Care.
• Maintain department standards, hygiene, and a clean, organized beauty area.
• Process sales at the register and support upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
