Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Beauty & Wellness Consultant to deliver exceptional customer care and personalized beauty solutions in our New York stores. You will perform mini-makeovers, skincare consultations, and product demonstrations while promoting Owned Brands and total Beauty, Wellness, and Personal Care.

The role emphasizes engaging customers, up-selling, and organizing events to boost brand loyalty. A high school diploma and strong English skills are required, with flexible scheduling

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with experience in a retail sales environment or prior beauty product sales and customer care.
• Ability to work with little supervision and escalate issues as needed.
• Knowledge of beauty products/brands to meet customer needs.
• Experience building and maintaining relationships within a team.
• Basic PC/tablet skills.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Demonstrates expertise in product applications and consultations using tools like the Skin Hydrometer and tablet.
• Leads in-store events to promote brand awareness and loyalty of Owned Brands and total Beauty, Wellness and Personal Care.
• Maintains department standards and hygiene, builds relationships, and supports omni‑channel engagement.
• Processes sales at the cash register and supports promotions and program launches.
• Has working knowledge of store systems and equipment and participates in program meetings.
