Job summary

Belk is seeking a Team Beauty Lead to drive personal and department results, building genuine client relationships and sharing enthusiasm for cosmetic trends.

You will lead a fast-paced beauty team, coach on service, events, and promotions, and leverage clienteling tools to create engaging omnichannel experiences.

This hourly role offers monthly bonus eligibility and opportunities to influence store performance through training, merchandising, and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience.
• Available to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must regularly move around all store areas and be accessible to customers.
• Must bend, reach, stretch for product as well as lift, carry, and move at least 40 lbs.
• Associates must maintain all required professional licenses and certifications, including any state-specific demonstrator or cosmetology licenses, as required by applicable state and local regulatory boards.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ownership and accountability in achieving store objectives and metrics.
• Create memorable store experiences through relationships with team, vendors, customers, and community.
• Lead team in providing excellent customer service, driving sales, achieving goals, and executing promotions and events.
• Build product knowledge and engage customers with beauty trends to drive engagement.
• Onboard and develop associates and provide ongoing training.
• Leverage clienteling tools and omnichannel processes for personalized service.
• Support merchandising, replenishment, and cleanliness to maintain standards.
• Collaborate with store leaders on schedules to maximize productivity for events.
• Adapt to changing business needs and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Lead inventory accuracy and shrink control through proper handling and transfers.
