Job summary

Kohl's is seeking a Beauty Lead Advisor to drive sales through a consultative approach, staying current on top beauty brands and maintaining visual standards in line with Sephora at Kohl’s guidelines. You will engage clients, upsell products, and ensure a premier client experience across the beauty department.

You will build loyalty through product knowledge, trends, and demonstrations, while supporting inventory, replenishment, and training requirements in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Authentic passion for beauty is required.
• Client-facing retail or service industry experience is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence clearly.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays is required.

Responsibilities

• Build strong client loyalty and influence clients by identifying needs and suggesting products to drive sales, including upsell opportunities.
• Develop and expand knowledge of the beauty industry.
• Provide credibility to the client through knowledge of products and beauty trends.
• Inspire clients through demonstrating products and application of products.
• Understand and execute the sales plans to support and meet goals.
• Execute and maintain Sephora visual merchandising and operational standards, including tester maintenance and department cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Ensure timely and consistent sales floor replenishment to drive sales and enhance the customer experience.
• Actively engage and complete all required training to expand knowledge.
• Support omni-processing within the department.
• Support inventory management from receipt to sale, including freight processing, back stocking, inventory counts and price changes.
