Job summary

Sally Beauty Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Product Development Manager to drive end-to-end product development across beauty categories. You will lead the creation, redevelopment, and launch of products from concept to shelf, leveraging consumer insights and trends.

This hybrid role is based in Plano, TX, reporting to the support center. You will guide development across tools, materials, and packaging while coordinating with marketing and sourcing to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years in product development within the beauty industry preferred.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Proficient in using production management software and tools.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Initiates new product ideas and/or improvements to maintain brands market position, including concept, packaging, testing plans, merchandising and promotion.
• Ensures development execution aligns with design, allocation, sourcing, and brand strategy.
• Lead cross-functional communication and coordination of timing, calendars, updates, approvals, and issues.
• Lead and manage an Assistant Manager, supporting day-to-day development and analytics.
• Develop an innovation ecosystem with external stakeholders to drive new product development or improve processes.
• Collaborate with marketing and merchandising to align strategy, development and marketing goals.
