Job summary

Sally Beauty Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Development Manager to lead commercial and product development for Own Brand categories.

You will translate consumer insights, market trends, and supplier capabilities into profitable innovation, partnering with Merchandising and cross-functional teams to drive commercialization from concept to launch. The role requires 5–7 years in product development or related fields, with strong financial acumen and stakeholder influence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5–7 years of Product Development, Product Management, Category Management, or Consumer Packaged Goods experience; beauty industry preferred.
• Experience leading complex commercialization programs across multiple categories.
• Strong financial and business acumen with experience developing business cases.
• Experience influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Knowledge of commercialization, sourcing, packaging, regulatory requirements, quality systems, and supplier management.
• Excellent presentation, executive communication, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to commercialization.
• Own portfolio health by evaluating innovation, lifecycle, assortment productivity, and post-launch results.
• Develop business cases with financial analysis, consumer insights, and market trends.
• Lead cross-functional commercialization teams across Merchandising, Marketing, Creative, Regulatory, Sourcing and Planning.
• Mentor Product Development Managers and cross-functional partners.
