Ulta Beauty is seeking a Merchandise Manager to lead store operations in alignment with our mission and values. You will manage a team, oversee shipment, replenishment, omni-channel activities, price changes, and markdowns, while driving top-line sales and inventory control.

The role emphasizes training, coaching, and development to build a high-performing team, ensuring compliance with standards and delivering exceptional guest service experiences across all store functions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1-2+ years of fast-paced retail management or other relevant work experience.
• Financial management: success with driving top-line sales, interpreting reporting data, managing payroll budgets, and controlling expense.
• Leadership management: experience with attracting, developing, and motivating top talent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of accountability to meet or exceed store goals related to sales, loyalty, payroll, omni-channel, and shrink.
• Drive profitability through operational excellence, top-line sales growth, and expense control.
• Leverage store forecast and payroll budgets to optimize scheduling.
• Review and react to financial and operational reporting.
• Perform makeup applications and product demonstrations to drive sales and guest service.
