Job summary

Nordstrom Inc. Beauty Department seeks a Beauty Counter Manager who blends sales with teaching to create personalized experiences for customers. You’ll drive brand results through in-store and digital engagement while modeling outstanding service.

Reporting to the Beauty team, you’ll lead makeup applications, skincare analyses, vendor events and trainings, and build strong relationships with customers and brand partners to grow loyalty and sales.

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications, skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer’s beauty goals.
• Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers.
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals, utilizing both in-store and digital selling tools.
• Manage the scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize business results.
• Keep department customer-ready through organization and cleanliness.
• Keep up with the latest beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through trainings.
• Manage sales, refunds, exchanges, and build Nordstrom Rewards program accounts.
