Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a Beauty Specialist to engage customers with personalized makeup and skincare guidance, building loyalty and driving sales across in-store and digital channels. You’ll implement trend-based recommendations, participate in beauty events, and maintain a welcoming department environment with strong product knowledge.

You will collaborate with the team, manage appointments, and stay current on beauty trends and brand offerings to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

• Excellent ability to connect with customers and handle concerns
• Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses; recommend products based on customer goals
• Collaborate with team to create a welcoming environment
• Set and achieve sales goals, including in-store and digital selling using selling tools
• Book appointments and drive sales for in-store events and services
• Maintain department readiness through organization and cleanliness
• Stay updated on beauty trends through trainings by Nordstrom and brand partners
• Manage sales, refunds, exchanges and build Nordstrom Rewards accounts
