Job summary

Kohl’s Beauty Advisor in New York, housed within Sephora at Kohl’s, focuses on driving sales through authentic beauty expertise and consultative client engagement. You will maintain product knowledge, execute visual merchandising, and support replenishment and inventory processes to ensure a premium shopping experience.

You’ll participate in ongoing product training, assist with omni-channel processing, and help uphold cleanliness and safety standards across the department.

Qualifications

• Authentic passion for beauty.
• Experience in client-facing retail or service environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build strong client loyalty and influence clients by identifying needs and suggesting products to drive sales, including upselling opportunities.
• Demonstrate credibility through knowledge of products and beauty trends.
• Inspire clients by demonstrating products and application techniques to drive sales.
• Complete required training to expand knowledge.
• Maintain Sephora visual merchandising and departmental standards, including tester maintenance and hygiene.
• Support omni-processing within the department.
• Assist inventory management from receipt to sale, including freight processing, back stocking, replenishment, counts and price changes.
• Communicate missed or damaged product/fixtures to the supervisor.
