Job summary

Kohl's is seeking a Beauty Advisor to drive sales through an authentic passion for beauty and to engage clients with a consultative approach. You will maintain expert knowledge of top beauty brands and execute visual standards according to Sephora at Kohl’s guidelines.

In this role you will build client loyalty by recommending products, demonstrate application techniques, complete training, and support inventory and merchandising to ensure a polished department experience.

Qualifications

• Authentic passion for beauty.
• Experience in client-facing retail or service industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence.
• Flexible availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Build strong client loyalty and identify needs to drive sales.
• Demonstrate credibility to the client through knowledge of products and beauty trends.
• Inspire clients through demonstrating products and application of products to drive sales.
• Actively engage and complete all required training to expand knowledge.
• Execute visual merchandising and maintain department standards; hygiene and tester maintenance.
• Support inventory management from receipt to sale, including replenishment and price changes.
• Communicate missed or damaged product/fixtures to the supervisor.
