Job summary

NHC HealthCare Dickson is seeking a Beautician/Stylist who enjoys working with seniors and takes pride in helping patients look and feel their best.

Provide professional hair-care services in a welcoming health care environment while supporting a positive experience for those we serve; shampoo, cut, style, set, curl, and perm.

The role requires a Tennessee cosmetology license, experience with senior clients, strong customer service and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Active Tennessee cosmetology license is required.
• Experience setting and perming hair for senior ladies is required.
• Must have a sincere interest in geriatric and health care patients.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, professional, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional hair-care and styling services for patients and residents.
• Shampoo, cut, style, set, curl, and perm hair based on individual preferences and needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary salon area.
• Clean and disinfect tools and equipment according to applicable sanitation requirements.
• Maintain appropriate salon supplies and notify leadership when additional products or materials are needed.
• Provide courteous, respectful, and compassionate service to geriatric and other health care patients.
• Communicate professionally with patients, residents, families, and center team members.
• Follow applicable licensing requirements, sanitation standards, and NHC procedures.
