Job summary

Evergreen Health and Rehabilitation Center in Winchester, VA is seeking a licensed Beautician/Hair Stylist to provide hair care and grooming for residents as a 1099 contractor. You will set your own schedule and pricing within facility guidelines, delivering services with professionalism in a skilled nursing environment.

Now Hiring: 1099 Beautician / Hair Stylist

Location: Evergreen Health and Rehabilitation

Compensation:$25.00 - $50.00 per hour (estimated)

Position Type: This is an independent contractor (1099) position. Compensation is not paid on an hourly basis.The hourly range displayed represents a good-faith estimate of typical earnings for job board compliance. Contractors are paid per service providedto residents. Current service fees range from $5 for a beard trimto $70 for a permanent/cut/set, with many services falling between $10 and $50+.Actual earnings vary based on appointment volume and services performed.

Evergreen Health & Rehab is seeking an experienced Beautician/Hair Stylist to provide high-quality hair care and grooming services to our residents. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed professional who enjoys working independently while making a meaningful difference in a skilled nursing setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide haircuts, shampooing, styling, and grooming services for residents
• Offer additional services such as coloring, perms, and beard trims (as applicable)
• Maintain a clean and sanitary salon environment
• Establish positive and professional relationships with residents and staff
• Coordinate your own schedule and manage service pricing (within facility guidelines)
• Adhere to all safety and infection control requirements

Requirements:

• Valid Cosmetology License (required)
• Prior experience with seniors or in a healthcare setting preferred
• Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Must provide your own tools and equipment
