SMS group is seeking a Bearing Maintenance technician in Osceola, AR to perform daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of chocks, bearings, and lubrication components. The role requires operation of chock washers and cranes, reading prints, and documenting inspections.

Training of new technicians and PM program duties are included. The position offers competitive compensation, paid vacation/holidays, and a 401k with company match.

Qualifications

• Candidates must perform daily maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and relocation of chocks, bearings, and lubrication components.
• Ability to operate chock washer and run jib/overhead cranes.
• Read prints and interpret tolerances; fill out inspection paperwork or RMS entries.
• Understand lubrication systems (REBS, Morgoil) and chock ID system.
• Willingness to work shifts or be on-call for repairs.
• Train new technicians and manage a preventive maintenance program.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and relocation of chocks, bearings, and lubrication components.
• Operate chock washer, jib and overhead cranes; ensure proper tool and part usage.
• Read prints, interpret tolerances, and document inspections in RMS or equivalent systems.
• Repair lubrication systems (REBS, Morgoil) and coordinate with vendors for parts.
• Develop and manage a PM program with tasks to keep machinery operational.
• Assist in training new technicians and maintaining housekeeping in the work area.
