Job summary

Sms Group Inc. is seeking a Roll Maintenance Technician in Osceola, AR to support the roll shop by performing daily tasks, housekeeping, chocking/dechocking rolls, grinding rolls, and crane rigging.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma, 2–3 years equipment experience, and certifications in crane and forklift preferred; in-house training is provided. The shift is 4 on 4 off and starting pay is $26.21–$28.84 hourly with benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: High School/Equivalent.
• Two to Three years of experience in a specific equipment function is preferred; No supervisory experience is required.
• Certifications: Crane and forklift is preferred – in house training provided to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain housekeeping in Area Of Responsibility (A.O.R).
• Chocking/dechocking rolls, grinding rolls, and overhead crane rigging and movement.
• Fork truck operation.
• Take direction from lead man or supervisors.
• Maintain timekeeping documentation.
• Wear required PPE.
