SMS group USA is seeking a Mechanical Repair and Assembly Technician in Osceola, AR. You will repair, install, adjust, and maintain industrial production equipment, using cranes and forklifts to move equipment safely.

The role involves reading blueprints, diagnosing malfunctions, and performing disassembly/reassembly, lubrication, testing, and adjustments to ensure smooth operation of machinery.

Qualifications

• Repair or maintain operating condition of industrial production machinery or equipment.
• Disassemble machinery to repair parts and reassemble upon completion.
• Observe and test operation to diagnose malfunctions using testing devices.
• Record parts used and order/requisition new parts as necessary.
• Study blueprints or manuals for correct installation or operation.

Responsibilities

• Repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery.
• Repair or replace broken components of machinery or equipment.
• Disassemble machinery to remove parts and make repairs.
• Test and diagnose malfunctions using voltmeters or other devices.
• Reassemble equipment after inspections and repairs.
• Lubricate, adjust, and clean parts and machinery.
• Inspect parts for defects and wear.
• Operate newly repaired machinery to verify repairs.
• Record repairs and maintenance performed.
• Program computer-controlled machinery as instructed.
• Demonstrate equipment functions to operators.
