Job summary

Fletcher Technical Community College in Schriever, LA, seeks an Associate Dean of BEAMS to provide leadership across Business, Education, Arts, Math, and Science. The role oversees faculty, coordinates division schedules, and advances transfer and general education initiatives.

The candidate will supervise staff, support accreditation activities, and partner with Enrollment Services, K–12, and external entities to promote student pathways. Strong collaboration and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three years of experience in higher education administration or support role (community college preferred).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel; willingness to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain performance standards and pursue goals aligned with the college’s mission.
• Supervise faculty and personnel; conduct performance evaluations and manage timesheets.
• Provide leadership and operational support to discipline coordinators and faculty.
• Assist the Dean with workloads, assignments, and staffing needs.
• Develop, build, and evaluate division course schedules; coordinate general education and transfer coursework.
• Support dual enrollment, articulation, transfer, and academic partnerships.
