Job summary

Fletcher Technical Community College seeks an Associate Dean of BEAMS to lead the Business, Education, Arts, Math, and Science division. You will supervise faculty and staff, oversee workloads, and support instruction aligned with college goals.

Based in Schriever, LA, the role partners with enrollment services and external partners to strengthen pathways, coordinate curricula, and advance accreditation and program review while fostering a culture of collaboration and student success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in higher education administration or support role.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
• Experience administering higher education training programs.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and manage ongoing program and course offerings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel; willingness to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain performance standards and pursue goals that promote the college’s mission.
• Supervise faculty and personnel as assigned by the Dean, including evaluations and timesheets.
• Provide leadership and operational support to discipline coordinators and faculty.
• Assist the Dean with workloads, instructional assignments, and staffing needs.
• Develop, build, and evaluate division course schedules in collaboration with college personnel.
• Coordinate general education and transfer coursework within the division.
• Support partnerships that strengthen student pathways with external offices.
