Fletcher Technical Community College seeks an Associate Dean of Transportation, Manufacturing, & Agriculture Technologies to lead Academic Affairs & Initiatives in Thibodaux, LA. The role focuses on program quality, workforce alignment, and growth across technical areas.

The position requires a Master’s degree and 3+ years in higher education administration, with strong collaboration and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and at least 3 years in higher education administration or program leadership.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and improve academic and workforce programs.
• Strong written and oral communication with collaborative leadership.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop faculty and staff, including onboarding and performance evaluations.
• Plan and manage academic operations, including course scheduling and workloads.
• Lead curriculum development, accreditation, and program assessment processes.
• Use data to monitor enrollment, outcomes, and industry credentials to guide growth.
• Build industry and community partnerships and manage advisory committees.
• Expand student pathways through dual enrollment and articulation.
• Ensure compliance and manage funding data for financial aid and grants.
• Support grant lifecycle activities from development to closeout.
• Promote programs with marketing and media coordination.
• Manage division budgeting, facilities, and procurement; coordinate events.
• Represent the division in convocation, committees, and professional development.
