Job summary

Sabre Industries, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to support the movement of raw, in-process and finished materials on the shop floor. You will read blueprints, prepare items for processing, operate forklifts, and log production data in Epicor while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

The role requires strong English communication and safety discipline. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, forklift experience, and the ability to work in an open manufacturing

Qualifications

• Reads shop drawings and work orders to determine sequence of operations.
• Operates machines and tooling with safety and quality in mind.
• Maintains log of run times and quantities in Epicor system.

Responsibilities

• Determinates sequence of operation by reading drawings and orders.
• Cuts, lays out, punches, bends, drills or stamps materials per shop drawings.
• Changes tooling and consumables as needed on machines.
• Reads a tape measure to 1/16 inch and ensures accuracy.
• Logs in/out of Epicor to report run times and quantities.
• Loads nesting programs into machines and performs basic maintenance checks.
• Maintains clean, safe work area and follows safety guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
