Job summary

Sabre Industries is seeking a Machine Operator C to perform a variety of metalworking tasks such as cutting, bending, punching, drilling, and stamping, following shop drawings and specifications.

Under supervision, you will report run time in Epicor, maintain tool setups, and ensure safety and quality. Candidates should hold a High school diploma and pursue Machine Operator C certification, forklift and crane operation credentials where applicable.

Qualifications

• Regular and punctual attendance required.
• Ability to read measurements to 1/16 inch or metric on a tape measure.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand safety instructions.
• Ability to obtain Machine Operator C certification and operate cranes safely.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification (5k/6k) and operate equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Review shop drawings and work orders to determine operation sequence.
• Perform cutting, layout, punching, bending, drilling, and stamping with minimal defects.
• Change tooling and consumables as needed on machines.
• Ensure proper machine setup to prevent damage and maintain efficiency.
• Log run time and quantities in the Epicor system.
