Job summary

HVMG - Hospitality Ventures Management Group is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to lead the Engineering Department of a large beachfront resort in Florida. You will oversee 18 staff, manage daily maintenance, and partner with the Director of Engineering to ensure reliable facilities and guest satisfaction.

The role requires hands-on expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems, with a strong focus on safety, preventive maintenance, and cost control.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in commercial/hotel maintenance and management.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, pool and building systems.
• Experience supervising a multi-skilled maintenance team.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and preventive maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise 18 Engineering/Maintenance/Security staff.
• Coordinate 24-hour maintenance coverage and daily work orders.
• Assist Director of Engineering with planning and budgeting.
• Maintain records, equipment histories, and PM schedules.
• Ensure safety, quality, and guest satisfaction in all operations.
• Coordinate with other departments and outside contractors.
