Job summary

HVMG is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to lead the engineering and maintenance operations of a large beachfront resort in Florida. This hands‑on, senior role requires strong leadership, safety discipline, and the ability to keep guest areas and back‑of‑house facilities running smoothly in a busy 24‑hour operation.

You will direct 18 staff, coordinate preventive maintenance, manage budgeting and purchasing, and partner with Housekeeping and Front Office to deliver a premier guest experience

Qualifications

• Significant experience in commercial, hotel, resort, institutional, or large‑facility maintenance.
• Previous supervisory or management experience in an Engineering or Maintenance Department.
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, pool, building, and general maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead 18 Engineering/Maintenance/Security staff and direct daily activities.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, safety programs, and life-safety compliance.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest services are uninterrupted.
• Assist Director of Engineering with planning, budgeting, and capital projects.
