Job summary

Big Chill Beach Club in Bethany Beach, Delaware, seeks a Back of House Supervisor for the seasonal kitchen leadership role. You will support daily operations, uphold food quality, and coach the BOH team during service, collaborating with the Kitchen Manager to execute prep, plating, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a high-volume kitchen.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be eligible to work in the United States.
• ServSafe certified.
• Flexible schedule and ability to balance personal & professional life.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be punctual and reliable.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and maneuver 170 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the line and support BOH team during prep and service.
• Assist with coaching and development of team members through real‑time feedback and support.
• Reinforce company culture and standards during shifts.
• Support onboarding and training of new kitchen team members.
• Act as a point of contact for BOH staff during shifts and resolve challenges.
• Maintain a positive, energetic presence that supports morale and engagement.
• Ensure food is prepared and plated according to recipes and quality standards.
• Support opening, closing, and seasonal setup/breakdown responsibilities.
• Live the brand and act as a Big Chill Beach Club ambassador.
