Job summary

Timbers Kaua‘i at Hōkūala invites motivated hospitality professionals to join our Food & Beverage team. Under supervision of the F&B Manager, you will provide outstanding service of meals and beverages to guests in an oceanfront resort setting on Kaua‘i.

Responsibilities include presenting menus, taking and relaying orders, serving courses, and maintaining a high standard of guest experience through attentive service and menu knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of food and beverage experience.
• Prior experience in customer service.
• Correct use of business English language.
• Customer service principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service.
• Relays order to kitchen and serves courses from kitchen and service bars.
• Garnishes and decorates dishes preparatory to serving.
• Totals bill and accepts payment to refers patron to Cashier.
• Place and process food and beverage orders utilizing the restaurant’s POS system.
• Perform other duties as appropriate and directed by supervisor/manager.
