The position requires a minimum of six months of F&B experience, strong customer service skills, and proficient English. A team-oriented, adaptive approach and the ability to multitask are essential for daily operations in our Hawaii

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of food and beverage experience.
• Prior experience in customer service.
• Correct use of business English language.
• Customer service principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service.
• Writes order on check or memorizes it.
• Relays order to kitchen and serves courses from kitchen and service bars.
• Garnishes and decorates dishes preparatory to serving.
• Serves patrons from chafing dish at table.
• Carves meat, bones fish and fowl, and prepares flaming dishes and desserts at patron’s table.
• Totals bill and accepts payment to refers patron to Cashier.
• Ladles soup, tosses salads, portions pies and desserts, brew coffee, and performs other services as determined by establishment’s size and practices.
• Clears and resets counters or tables at conclusion of each course.
• Place and process food and beverage orders utilizing the restaurant’s POS system.
• Perform other duties as appropriate and directed by supervisor/manager
