Sea Colony Recreational in Bethany Beach, DE is seeking a full-time Beach Lifeguard for a seasonal role with Troon, the world‑leader in golf and community management. Compensation: $22.00 per hour. The role is seasonal (up to 6 months).

The position requires Run/Swim testing, Red Cross Lifeguarding before day one, and EMR/First Responder training after hire. Responsibilities include supervising swimmers, delivering first aid, enforcing conduct, checking supplies, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Must pass a Run and swim test.
• Must have Red Cross Lifeguarding before first day of work.
• Must pass EMR/First Responder certification (offered after hired).
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and applicable health codes.

• Administers first aid to minor injuries such as small cuts and bruises of swimmers.
• Enforces the rules of conduct.
• Checks the first aid supplies and reports needed items to management in a timely fashion.

Compensation:

$22.00 per hour

Role Type:

Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)

Schedule:

Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays if necessary.

Key Responsibilities of the Beach Lifeguard:
